For many decades now, our extended family has celebrated Christmas Eve together. From my childhood to my children's and now childrens' children's childhoods, my parents somehow convinced Santa to visit us on the busiest night of his year. As I got older I knew that “Santa” was a neighbor or a friend who was under that beard. But ten years ago something was different; it wasn't a neighbor or friend in that Santa suit but the real, yes the real Santa AND Mrs. Claus. Our Christmas Eves were always amazing, now they are magic. Yes, Virginia, there really is a Santa, and Mrs. Claus too!!!
Santa and Mrs. Claus are so much fun! The kids love them and look forward to their visit every year. It’s been 4 years and Christmas wouldn’t be “Christmas” without our very own Santa Claus and the “Mrs”.

Over the past two years, Don has been the highlight of my charity event "Santa Paws". Working with dogs and kids at the same time is not an easy task and he's always up for the challenge. He's cheerful, patient and the most authentic Santa I have ever met. I mean, that amazing beard is real!! I'm so grateful to have found him and thrilled that he is part of our annual event.
In October 2004 I was a crew member for LA Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. The first day at camp there was a rumor going around that on Day 3, the final day. a special celebrity appearance was planned at the First Pit Stop (Themed Aloha to the 3 DAY). Rumors began...Was it Schwarzenegger? Day 2.. could it be Clooney...? Pitt? After 3 days and 60 miles everyone left Pit Stop 1 that last day with the biggest smiles and the joy of seeing good old Santa Claus. The walkers were thrilled, and so was Santa to have been part of such a special event. 2004 Day 3 of the LA Breast Cancer Walk was a Magic Memories for me, and a few thousand other survivors and supporters as well.
We have had the pleasure of having Santa Don Masters attend our Annual Christmas parties for over 10 years. We started when our children were about 3 years old. Santa's approach and games grew as the children grew so he was always age appropriate. He spoiled the children and parents with photo's and conversation befitting a perfect Santa. On most occasions, Suzette dressed up as Ms. Claus, and kept the party alive and happy. The children are now in their teens (16), and still talk about Santa and our parties as do the adults.
